Olive Tree Support is the controller for the personal data collected through this website.
2. What personal data we process
We only process personal data that you provide to us yourself, for example via the contact form on our website. This may include:
- Name
- Company name
- Type of cultivation
- Country
- E-mail address
- Telephone number
- The content of your message to us
We do not collect personal data from visitors who only browse our website without using the contact form, other than the technical data necessary for the website to function correctly (see chapter 5, Cookies).
3. Why we process this data
We use your personal data solely for the following purposes:
- Answering your question or request submitted via the contact form;
- Scheduling and preparing a (non-binding) cultivation consultation or introductory meeting;
- Maintaining contact in connection with any potential cooperation or provision of services;
- Complying with legal obligations, for example in the area of administration and bookkeeping.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making and we do not sell your data to third parties.

We process your personal data on the basis of the following legal grounds under the GDPR:
- Consent: when you fill in and submit the contact form yourself;
- Performance of a contract: when we enter into an assignment or cooperation with you;
- Legitimate interest: to answer questions and maintain contact with (potential) clients;
- Legal obligation: to the extent we are required to retain data, for example for tax purposes.
5. Cookies
This website uses WordPress with the Elementor and WPML plugins. These plugins may place functional cookies that are necessary for the website to function correctly, for example to remember your language preference. At the time this statement was drawn up, this website does not use third-party tracking or analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics or advertising cookies).
Should this change in the future, we will update this privacy statement and, where legally required, request your prior consent via a cookie notice.
6. How long we retain your data
We do not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
- We retain data from the contact form for as long as necessary to answer your question and maintain any follow-up contact, with a maximum of 2 years after the last contact, unless an agreement is entered into;
- We retain data that forms part of an ongoing or completed agreement for as long as required by the statutory (tax) retention period, currently 7 years.
7. Sharing data with third parties
We do not share your personal data with third parties, except where this is necessary for our services or where we are legally obliged to do so. This includes:
- Our hosting provider, for the technical management of the website;
- Our e-mail and/or calendar provider, for handling contact requests and scheduling meetings;
- Our bookkeeper or accountant, for financial administration.
Where necessary, we enter into a data processing agreement with parties that process personal data on our behalf, in order to ensure an appropriate level of security and confidentiality.
